Video Games: Current Trends in Intellectual Property

Dr S. Gregory Boyd kicked off the first lecture in the "IP Surprise!" lecture series today at the Wellington Conference Center.  Dr. Boyd's talk centered on the emerging trends of patent use in the video game industry, arguing that patents are likely under utilized and that patent litigation is on the horizon for this industry.  Dr. Boyd also provided advice on how to getting in to and work in the game industry.
