Prof. Beth Noveck was a speaker at the 4th Annual Patenting Business Methods in the Financial Services Industry conference in New York City on July 24–25. The conference brings together Industry leaders to address the most relevant and topical concerns, including proactively managing IP portfolios, conducting freedom-to-operate due-diligence, enforcing patents, defending against claims of infringement and updates on current trends and litigation.
Prof. Noveck's presentation on "Innovation and Public Participation" to the financial services industry described the benefits that can be derived from community involvement in the patenting process.
