The project now enters a six-month evaluation phase. During this phase, both IP Australia and Queensland University of Technology, the project manager, will evaluate the pilot’s success. The results of the pilot will be published in an anniversary report, which will be made available under a Creative Commons license on the project website in December 2010.
The conclusion of the peer review phase of the Australian pilot comes right on the heels of active interest in a proposed Peer To Patent-type system by the World Intellectual Property Organization (see blog post of June 10, 2010).
